The Old Red Barn

After four splendid blue-sky days spent planting bulbs and dividing perennials, it’s time to return to the studio. On my table today is a collage of the old red barn. I’m slightly obsessed with it. The eye-catching colour is not paint. It’s mould! Bright orange mould it’s caused by high humidity here on the West Coast. Slowly rotting into the earth, allowing me time to investigate it further…hopefully!
