The rain outside means more time in the studio. Fortunately, I can bring some of the garden flowers indoors. Asters are flowering profusely and look lovely in my yellow vase. Although their tiny petals are a challenge to collage!
To begin I had to register my paper and gel press to the table. A not so elaborate and professional technique, but it works. The background is a lovely apricot pink with a light lemon yellow.
The touch of lemon yellow in the background picks up the yellow in the vase and the subtle yellows in the flowers.
