I’m really happy with how this tuned out…stepping outside my comfort zone a little, I’m using brushes and colours that I don’t often use, such as this blue. If you scroll through the images you can see a little of my process. From mono print, stencil to the final finished work with collage and oil pastel.

This is the first time I have used a gel press. It’s an interesting way to print and something I can do from home without a press.

The gel press uses water based paints and inks. I use cheap print paper to make my stencils: because the gel press surface is so soft any thicker stencil paper will cut into the surface when you apply pressure.
