The circus came to my town one Drizzly Autumn day and it was there that I first saw Emmett, dressed in his silk clown britches and bottle top cap, he was an interesting donkey indeed!.
Emmett the donkey would make a lovely addition to collectors of vintage style dolls and toys.
Emmett wears a pair of red tartan silk pantaloons detailed with vintage white buttons. His ruffle is made from silk, the colour is a burnt orange, vintage beads and buttons are attached.
His body and mane, the brown shoes and socks, little hands/hoofs are hand-painted. His face is hand embroidered.
