This is my first attempt at growing dahlias here in my Rosebery garden. fingers crossed they won’t rot in the ground!
Meet Cinderella!

Little Angel – dahlia.
This one grew a lot taller than expected, I will need to plant them more towards the center of the perennial bed.
Two other dahlias emerged but didn’t flower and one rotted. All but one have now been dug up and overwintered in a box with newspaper. Hopefully this will keep them safe till spring, when I will have a permanent place for them in the garden.
