Grace Garton is Tasmanian based artist, living in the small west coast town called Rosebery.
Known for her work in mixed media painting and soft sculptures. Grace studied Visual Arts at University of New South Wales from 1983 to 1985, and soon after began a career in the animation industry. Where she spent 27 years working for various studios in AustraliaIn 2006, Grace shifted focus to her own arts practice, launching a small online business selling vintage-style, fabric anthropomorphic dolls and prints of her artwork. With a permanent home studio, she now experiments with collage, acrylics and printmaking, drawing inspiration from her garden, birds, landscapes, and still life.
Her work has been exhibited in various institutes and galleries across Melbourne and Tasmania, and has built a dedicated following in Australia and internationally.
