Over the next few months I’ll be working on a couple of Queenstown themed handmade art books.
This is the first one I made, based mostly from the archived photos and memorabilia from the Galley Museum, in Queenstown. This one is an accordion fold book with stitched fabric edges. Some of the work have been created through frottage, rubbings, small mono prints and cut out silhouettes.
The collaborative book, which will be collected in August and transformed into a large accordion fold book by print maker, teacher and paper artist, Leonie Oakes.
