The weather has been lousy here these past weeks. Torrential rain, hale and frost.

What bulbs that have come up have suffered the elements, all except the daffodils and anemones. The tulips are not doing well in the garden, they haven’t done well these past two years.

Anemone coronaria – frost hardy little gems, planted on mass in front flower border.
The ones in post too have suffered.

Polyanthus (Primula x polyantha) always ready to cheer me up in the gloomiest of days. This one has traveled with me to many a rental garden, so pleased she has finally settled in here and is doing well.
