Another completed artwork for my still life series.
While still working on a much larger painting of my bookshelf doll, I really wanted to make a smaller painting of the same doll, on her own. The dress was really interesting to paint, it was an intensive process, continually correcting my folds, shadows and highlights to get an approximate result.
The books the doll sits on are, Alice In Wonderland. Very vintage and very well read.
