Hats

A month or so back I received a request from a customer who had purchased one of my little calico dolls, many years ago; asking me if I was interested in making a hat for her old doll and another for another doll she wished to buy from my shop.

Always up for a new challenge so I said. YES!

These were meant to be on ordinary hats either, one had to resemble the hat worn by the scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz and the other had to have three patches.

Over the next week my client and I discussed patterns, colours and fabrics and the end result was a super happy client and another feather in my cap as a maker of tiny bucket hats!

Two cute little bucket hats!

The last bit of detailing. straw sewn to the inside of the hat.
