Drawing Couture

Always up for learning something new and now I have the time between looking for work and running my little art business. My background is in animation, not Disney but did start out at Hanna Barbera..I can relate to Dallas Shaw's training, drawing circles, arcs and lines to create characters.

Always in the background was a passion for fashion, my mum was a seamstress in Austria, and when we were little she made all my brothers and sisters clothes, no stranger to pins, measuring tapes, mysterious paper patters that resided in illustrated envelopes of sophisticated women or cute children. It was these illustrations that I loved so much and have inspired me to give this a go..here are my first attempts..just warming up.

Having some fun with these too, dusting off my water colours and breaking out sequins and glitter for some special effects.
