CLIENT: TasTAFE creative industries, Hunter Street Campus

BRIEF: The catalogue needs to have pick-up appeal, and to draw prospective student’s into looking further into it by reading the content and ultimately getting them to contact TasTAFE via its 1300 number or website.
The promotional design must work both in the form of a stand alone advertisement and as part of the cover of the catalogue
The campaign needs to promote the fact that TasTAFE are located at the historic Hunter St campus, and it should showcase the buildings architecture and it’s historical character
The  target audience are creative student’s who either have graduated from college,  mature age people wishing for a career change or to up-skill within the creative industries
Program  offered by TasTAFE at the Hunter St. Campus will need to be represented in the form of a double page spread.

Provide at least three mass print advertisements, outdoor, newspaper and digital.

All projects must use the TasTAFE and Tasmanian Government style guide.

SOLUTION: Deciding to go with a less corporate look, I put a heavier focus the schools environment.
The cover gives a nod to the past, and was inspired by the schools Georgian building, vintage criminal “wanted posters”, and American farmer's field guide note books, contemporary typography and layout design.

The front cover title ad headings on pages throughout the book are my own digitally modified typography.
